Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners submits that the next date of hearing before the learned Trial Court is 29.05.2026 and on such next date, the learned Trial Court is required to take up one application filed by the petitioners under Section 94 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 (corresponding Section 91 Cr.P.C.). He submits that he would be duly represented by a counsel on that date. 2. When asked, he submitted that petitioner-Pawan Sharma is an advocate by profession and got carried away unnecessarily before the learned Trial Court and would ensure that he displays complete restraint on the next date of hearing before the learned Trial Court. Mr. Sachin Puri, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners submits that the application is of great importance as the petitioner merely wants preservation of certain CDRs of the concerned police officials and, in case, no order is passed, there is every chance of these getting overwritten. 4. After hearing argument for some time, Mr. Sachin Puri, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, does not press for any further relief in the present petition. He, merely, prays that the learned Trial Court may consider the abovesaid application and dispose it of on the next date, in accordance with law. 5. The present petition is, accordingly, disposed of as not pressed. 6. Learned Trial Court would hear the arguments from both the sides and would try to dispose of the abovesaid application as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, same day.
