ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to delete the name of one Kadhar Hussain, S/o. Pakeer Mohammed from Patta No.832 for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to the writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he is in absolute possession of the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to the writ petition. However, the name of one Khader Hussain, Son of the 3rd respondent has been erroneously included in the patta. The petitioner had submitted a representation dated 19.02.2026 to the official respondents for the aforesaid purpose, seeking deletion of the name of Khader Hussain from Patta No.832. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the 3rd respondent, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
WP No. 12123 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 6 4 No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner’s representation, as stated above, are directed to be disposed of by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 3rd respondent and all other necessary parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Since the Revenue Divisional Officer, Perambalur District, is the competent authority to adjudicate the petitioner’s representations, this Court by exercising its suo-motu powers, impleads the Revenue Divisional Officer, Perambalur District, as the 4th respondent in this writ petition. The Registry is
directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the cause-title. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, also undertakes to accepts notice on behalf of the newly impleaded 4th respondent.
6. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representations dated 19.02.2026.
7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the newly impleaded 4th respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner’s representation dated 19.02.2026 seeking for deletion of the name of Mr.Khadar Hussain from patta No.832 for the subject property more fully https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
