JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL ORDER The petitioners are aggrieved by the alleged illegal construction said to have been put up by respondent No.4. Hence, they made representations to respondent Nos.1 to 3 - Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (for short, 'the BBMP') now, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (for short, 'the GBA') to take necessary action against respondent No.4. As the same was not done, the present writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the BBMP / GBA to initiate appropriate action against respondent No.4. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent - BBMP / GBA, upon instructions, submits that respondent No.4 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19726 WP No. 9668 of 2025 has put up construction in violation of the building bye-laws and the sanctioned plan and necessary action has been initiated against respondent No.4 with a view to remove the illegal construction and the same will be taken to its logical end within a reasonable time. Hence, the following: ORDER i. Respondent Nos.1 to 3 are hereby directed to do the needful and remove the illegal construction put up by respondent No.4 within an outer limit of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
