This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent-District Magistrate to constitute an inquiry under the supervision of District Level Officer qua the irregularities made by Village Pradhan and direct decision on the representation dated 05.01.2026. 2. A perusal of the representation dated 05.01.2026 filed as Annexure No. 4 to the writ petition reveals that except for making allegations of very general nature regarding the wrong doing, complaint does not contain any particulars whatsoever for any meaningful inquiry to be initiated. 3. Filing of the petitions in public interest, based on complaints, which are wholly cursory, cannot be countenanced. 6. The petition is, therefore, dismissed.
