JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Having regard to the observations made by this Court in the daily order dated 25.03.2026, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and approach the competent court for enhancement of compensation. However, learned counsel for petitioner further submits that since the subject matter of the litigation is a petrol station, the respondents should give reasonable time to enable the petitioners to remove the underground fuel tank, two fuel machines, 1 overhead fuel tank and 1 retail shop. 2. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of, reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent civil court to redress the grievance regarding enhancement of compensation. However, insofar as the other request made by the learned counsel for petitioner is concerned, the respondent authorities should give - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20102 WP No. 7348 of 2026 sufficient time to the petitioner as requested, having regard to the admitted fact that the subject matter of the dispute is a petrol station.
