The petitioner seeks directions to the Regional Passport Office to consider his application and to issue a passport. Sri Lakshmikanth K, the learned counsel for the petitioner, argues that there are no specific allegations against the petitioner, and the FIR/chargesheet is against multiple persons. However, Smt. Sinchana M R, the learned counsel for the respondent, rightly points out that the passport authority cannot go into these questions and this authority must consider the petitioner's application if there is permission from the Court to travel.
