HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19720-DB CCC No. 1017 of 2024
ORAL JUDGMENT
(PER: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN)
We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the complainant as well as the learned counsel appearing for the accused - Government Officers.
2. We notice that there has been an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner on 10.03.2026 which was placed on record.
3. The contention of the learned counsel for the complainant is that the said order is incorrect and is one passed long beyond the time granted under Section 136 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964.
4. We are of the opinion that it is for the complainant to challenge the order, if he is aggrieved by the same.
5. In the above view of the matter, this Contempt of Court Case is closed, reserving liberty to the complainant to challenge the order dated 10.03.2026 and leaving open all his
contentions.
