Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2. Matter is taken up for consideration when Mr. Dipanjan Datta, learned advocate being Assistant Secretary of Bar Association, High Court, Calcutta has intervened on behalf of the Bar Association and has submitted that action taken by the concerned police authority is not found to be an appropriate step. 3. It is further submitted that due to such inappropriate step taken by the concerned police authority, petitioner being one of the members of Bar Association, had suffered and was harassed at the instance of the police authority prompting the petitioner to approach this [2] Court with the present writ petition seeking necessary direction. 4. State respondents are also represented by learned advocate. 5. It is further submitted on behalf of the Bar Association that there was an intervention on the part of the Association as a result whereof the issue was resolved. 6. Hence, the writ petition stands disposed of with a note of caution that if such improper act on the part of the police authority recurs in future, that will be viewed seriously. 7. Leave is granted to the learned advocate representing the petitioner to amend the cause title of this writ petition and add Bar Association, High Court, Calcutta as additional respondent in course of this day. 8.
