GP FOR WOMEN DEV CHILD WELFARE The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.21795 of 2026 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed, inter alia, questioning the action of the respondent Nos.1 to 3 in entrusting custody and care of the minor girl by name Ch.Bhagya Lakshmi to the respondent No.4 control and custody at the behest of the unofficial respondent with a consequential prayer to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to hand over the minor girl by name Ch.Bhagya Lakshmi to the petitioner herein. 2. The petitioner herein is the mother of the minor girl. According to the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, the grandmother and maternal uncle of the minor girl performed the marriage of the minor girl with one Durga Rao. When the said fact was brought to the notice of respondent No.5, the minor child was placed at protect home. At the request of the petitioner’s counsel and the respondents’ counsel, this Court directed the respondent No.4 to produce the minor girl before this Court. Accordingly, the minor girl was produced before this Court and this Court has directed the Mediation Officer to conduct mediation. The minor girl deposed that if the minor girl is given custody to the petitioner, it will be endanger to the safety of the minor girl and stated that the 4 minor girl is intended to stay and to continue her studies in the Rides Open Shelter for Girls, Nuziveedu. 3. Taking into consideration of the affidavit filed by the minor girl, this Court is not inclined to grant relief as prayed by the petitioner. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
