Neutral Citation No. ( 2026:JHHC:8796 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 2549 of 2026 Animesh Kumar ... … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand ... … Opposite Party --------- CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --------- For the Petitioner : Mr. Shailesh Kr. Singh, Advocate For the State : A.P.P. --------- 02/30.03.2026 Heard Mr. Shailesh Kr. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected twice in B.A. No. 8856 of 2023 and B.A. No. 9828 of 2024. It appears from the impugned order that the trial has been fixed for recording of the statement of the petitioner u/s 313 Cr.P.C. It also appears that 18 bruises were found on the person of the deceased. The petitioner appears to be the husband of the deceased. Regard being had to the fact that the trial is at its fag end, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is hereby rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Dated, the 30th March, 2026 A.
