The present intra-Court appeal arises out of order dated 14.07.2026 passed by a Single Judge in WPSS No. 1551 of 2026, whereby the writ petition, filed by the appellant-writ petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus to the respondent-Committee of Management to issue a formal promotion order and to promote him from Class-IV to Class-III post, has been dismissed with the observation that the appellant-writ petitioner has no indefeasible right to claim promotion and that, as and when any promotion exercise would be held, the appellant-writ petitioner would also be considered. 2.
