Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.2 & 3. 2. This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.23,44,689/- due to the petitioner, towards the works executed by him, despite the bills having been finalized. 3. When the matter has been taken up for consideration today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.2 & 3 has placed before the Court a copy of instructions received by him in the case. A perusal of the same would reflect that the bills have not been uploaded in CFMS due to lack of Municipal General funds and that the same would be uploaded in seriatim after the necessary sanction of funds. 4. Having regard to the above, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the respondents to release the amounts that are due to the petitioner within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of the order. 5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 5
