It is, therefore, contended that the principal relief sought in the present writ petition, no longer survives for consideration, and the writ petition has consequently become infructuous. 4. In view of the subsequent development, namely, submission of the charge-sheet and taking of cognizance by the competent court, this Court is of the opinion that the relief claimed in the present criminal writ UKHC010100872020 2026:UHC:6812 petition no longer survives at this stage.
