Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is similarly situated as Mikail Sk. and Kamal Sk. @ Kamel Sk. Kamal Sk. @ Kamel Sk. was granted bail in CRM(M) 490 of 2026 vide order dated 08.04.2026. Having considered that some of the accused persons have been granted bail only on the ground of period of detention and the present petitioner is in custody for more than 1 year and 3 months and the prosecution intends to rely upon 59 witnesses and witness action has not progressed, as such, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Petitioner be released on the same terms and conditions as was imposed upon Kamal Sk. @ Kamel Sk in CRM (M) 490 of 2026. Accordingly, CRM (M) 863 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
