PATIL) This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 11.11.2019 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.33365/2015 (LA-RES), wherein the learned Single Judge has directed the respondent No.1-Land Acquisition Officer-cum-Assistant Commissioner, Doddaballapur Sub-Division, to consider the representation of the petitioner. 2. The respondent No.1 entered appearance and filed an affidavit. 3. We have perused the affidavit and the order dated 30.01.2026 passed by the respondent No.1. The order indicates that the compensation is determined and the award has been passed. 4. The learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the complainants have also sought a reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18400-DB C.C.C. No.897/2024 1894, and the Reference Court re-determined the compensation. 5. In view of the order dated 30.01.2026, we are of the considered view that there is compliance of the order of the learned Single Judge. 6. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed. Liberty is reserved to the complainants to challenge the aforesaid order in accordance with law. Notice issued to the accused stands discharged.
