The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- (a) for issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction upon the respondents to quash the letter of rejection in connection to Grievance No.PRI14210322177384202561213114907 dated June 12 2025 by which the petitioner prayed for rectification of defects in Digitized online Khatiyan/ Register - II; (b) further to rectify the defect in Digitized Online Khatiyan/ Register - II. 2. The description of land of the petitioner is as follows :- “Bara Ghaghra, PS No.221, Khata No.129, Plots – 892, 893, 1924, 1925 & 1962, Area – 1.03 acres recorded on Part – 1 Page – 135 of the Register - II.” 3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in online Register – II, it has been shown as Mrs. Lahgi W/O – Yugal Singh, which is contrary to the Khatiyan wherein it has been mentioned as Mosmat Lahangi W/O – Jhublu Singh. It has further been submitted that online entry is not the true reflection of the original record. 4. There is no dispute that the online entry must be true reflection of the original record maintained by the State - 1 - W.P.C No.506 of 2026 2026:JHHC:2740 Government. If there is any discrepancies, that has to be corrected by the authority concerned. 5. In that view of the matter, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of directing the respondent i.e. Circle Officer, Argora, Ranchi to correct the online entries if there is any discrepancy vis-a-vis the Government record, within six weeks from the date of receipt/ production of copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that if the aforesaid exercise is not completed within six weeks, the petitioner is entitled for Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) as a litigation cost, to be paid by the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, who will recover the said amount from the erring officials. 7. The Secretary, Department of Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms, Government of Jharkhand , Ranchi, is held responsible for compliance of the aforesaid order. 8. With above observation and direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of. 9. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
