Case No. 37 dated 2nd April, 2024 under certain provisions of Indian Penal Code. 2. Petitioner prays for directions upon the police authority for expediting the investigation and submission of charge sheet. 3. However, Mr. Suman Sengupta, learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a report dated 19th April, 2026 of officer-in-Charge, Alipore Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of said report dated 19th April, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. 2 4. It is disclosed in the report dated 19th April, 2026 that Final Report True (FRT) was filed due to want of evidence against FIR named person. 5. In view of steps taken by the police authorities as disclosed in the report dated 19th April, 2026 no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 6. Writ petition stands disposed of. 7. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law, if so advised. 8.
