The present writ petition has been filed impugning the Notifications/ Circulars dated 3rd February, 2015, 30th April, 2015, 29th March, 2022 and 7th May, 2026 passed by the respondent-GNCTD. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent-GNCTD has arbitrarily imposed the requirement that sale of an E-Rickshaw can only be made in favour of a person holding a valid Driving License issued by the respondent-GNCTD. It is submitted that the aforesaid requirement is de hors the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989. This is a digitally signed order.
