By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to fix the pay of the petitioner retrospectively in accordance with applicable rules, pay revisions and increments for the entire period of service. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction directing the respondents to recalculate and release all post-retirement dues such as gratuity, leave encashment, insurance etc and any other admissible dues, along with statutory interest within a stipulated time. (iii) Award interest on the delayed payment of post-retirement dues in accordance with Payment of Gratuity Act. (iv) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to decide the pending representations of petitioner within stipulated time period.” 3. Without going into the merits of the claim staked by petitioner, this Court thinks that ends of justice would be met if petitioner is permitted to make representation. 2026:UHC:1259 4. Ms. Manju Chauhan, Advocate holding brief of Ms. Prabha Naithani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner refers to Annexure-5 to the writ petition, which is a representation made by petitioner to the competent authority. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Regional Manager, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, Kathgodam, to take decision on the representation (Annexure-5), as per law, within ten weeks from date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
