This application has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in connection with Ahilyapur PS Case No.3 of 2025, corresponding to GR Case No.894 of 2025, registered for the offence under sections 80(2)/3(5) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned S.D.J.M., Giridih. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner happened to be husband and earns his livelihood by way of doing labour work out side the State. He next submits that the wife has committed suicide and there are general and omnibus allegations of demand of dowry and torture and other family members have not been sent up for trial and the charge sheet has -2- been submitted against this petitioner only and the petitioner is in custody since 21.2.2025. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent State opposed the prayer of regular bail of the petitioner and submits that the petitioner happened to be husband of the deceased. 5. It transpires that there is general and omnibus allegations of demand of dowry and torture and other family members have not been sent up for trial and the deceased has committed suicide and the petitioner is in custody since 21.2.2025 and the charge sheet has been submitted, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Giridih, in connection with Ahilyapur PS Case No.3 of 2025, corresponding to GR Case No.894 of 2025.
