The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of Respondent-Authorities in issuing the impugned penalty vide order, dated 06.05.2026 against the Petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner was imposed a penalty of bringing down to a lower stage in the scale of pay up to the minimum of the scale, with immediate effect from 06.05.2026. Aggrieved by the same, the Writ Petition came to be filed. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services submitted that, as per the Human Resource (H.R.) Policy, an appeal is provided and Respondent No.4 is the appellate authority, and the Petitioner had to pursue the remedy of appeal rather than filing the present Writ Petition straightaway. 4. Heard the counsels. 5. Considering the submissions, as there is an alternative remedy, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition, and this Writ Petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the Petitioner to pursue the remedy of appeal before the Appellate Authority. 4 6.
