According to petitioner, she made a complaint that respondent no. 7 has wrongly obtained caste certificate, certifying that she belong to Scheduled Tribes. The said complaint is said to be pending before District Caste Scrutiny Committee, headed by District Magistrate since 29.08.2025. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought direction to the District Caste Scrutiny Committee to expedite decision in the matter, as respondent no. 7 was elected as Block Pramukh against a seat reserved for Scheduled Tribe. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, respondent no. 3 is directed to have enquiry concluded on the complaint made by petitioner, as early as possible, but not later than eight weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
