Public Prosecutor The Court made the following order:
1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were arraigned as A.2 and A.3 in C.C. No.90 of 2022 on the file of the IV Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tirupati, for the alleged offences under Sections 498-A of the Indian Penal Code 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, on the complaint of the 2nd respondent.
3. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioners are the sisters of A.1. It is submitted that both the petitioners are living separately soon after their marriage, and they have never interfered with the marital

affairs of A.1 and the 2nd respondent. It is submitted that the marriage of A.1 and the 2nd respondent was solemnized on 06.11.2003. On account of certain marital disputes, the 2nd respondent roped the petitioners as accused and they are no way connected with the alleged offence.
4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this court is inclined to dispose off the criminal petition, dispensing with the presence of the petitioners/A.2 and A.3 in C.C.No.90 of 2022 on the file of the IV Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tirupati, subject to filing an affidavit undertaking to appear before the learned Magistrate as and when required for the purpose of trial.
5. Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed off.
6. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed. ____________________ JUSTICE HARINATH. N BV
