The petitioner is a senior citizen and is also suffering from poor health. No allegations of domestic violence have been against him. Therefore, he seeks to have the complaint withdrawn. 3. A perusal of the domestic violence complaint that has been filed by the 1st respondent would also indicate that there are no specific allegations made against the petitioner. vd;id bfhLikg;gLj;jpdhh;/ Further, the 1st respondent has left the matrimonial home on 20.05.2022. During the panchayat that had taken place, mediation efforts were taken amongst the elders. The request made was only for return of the jewels and no allegations of domestic violence had been made by the petitioner. It is after the 2nd respondent had filed a petition for divorce that the domestic violence complaint has been made.
The same is only an attempt to arm- twist the 2nd respondent into settling a huge compensation on the petitioner. 4. Considering the fact that there is no specific allegations of domestic violence made against the petitioner and only vague allegations have been made, the civil revision petition is allowed and the domestic violence case is 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
