1. Petitioners have sought a direction upon Respondent No. 14/Tehsildar Nagrota, Jammu (with the powers of Assistant Collector 1st Class) to decide the petition titled “Raj Kumar & Ors. Vs. Ajay Kumar & Ors.”, filed under Section 105 of the Land Revenue Act for making partition of the land falling under Khasra No. 769 measuring 10 Kanals 10 Marlas, Khasra No. 771 measuring 02 Kanals 04 Marlas, Khasra No. 781 measuring 19 Marlas, Khasra No. 782 measuring 17 Kanals 18 Marlas, Khasra No. 783 measuring 01 Kanal 18 Marlas and Khasra No. 785 measuring 12 Kanals 13 Marlas, situated at Village Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota, District Jammu.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have filed a petition before Respondent No. 14 for partition of the land in question, which is falling under various Khasra numbers, situated at Village Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota, District Jammu, but the petition is not being decided and disposed of by Respondent No. 2 expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners would feel satisfied, if direction is issued to Respondent No. 14 to decide the petition in a time bound manner.
4. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of at its threshold with a direction to Respondent No. 14 to decide and dispose of the partition suit titled, “Raj Kumar & Ors. Vs. Ajay

Kumar & Ors.”, pending before him, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
