The petitioner has prayed for a direction to respondent No.3 to issue passport in his favour on basis of his application dated 14.10.2023. 2. Shri Sunil Sharma, Advocate appearing for the respondents has placed on record the instructions received from the Assistant Passport Officer, Regional Passport Office, Lucknow. The stand taken therein is that the certificate filed by the petitioner in respect of his claim regarding date of birth appears to be dubious. The authority sought its verification from the Registrar, U.P. Board of Madrasa Education, Lucknow. The certificate has not been verified by the U.P. Board of Madrasa Education so far. 3. Having regard to the stand taken by the respondent authority, we dispose of the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to file a copy of instant order before the U.P. Board of Madrasa Education, so that the said Board may submit a report to the Regional Passport Office, Lucknow to expedite the process of grant of passport. 4.
