Case No. 18 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 325, 317(5), 299, 111, 3(5) & 61(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and Sections 12 (i)(ii)(iii) of Jharkhand Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act, 2005, pending in the court of Smt. Vidyawati Kumari, learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti. On 10.02.2025, Torpa Police intercepted a truck bearing registration No. CG04MP-4783 and seized 32 cattle from the said truck. It was submitted that petitioners are neither owner nor the driver of the truck. Petitioners are employed as a labourers by the co-accused persons. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Smt. Vidyawati Kumari, learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti, in connection with Torpa P.S. Case No. 18 of 2025. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
