[2] This present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- “i. (i) Admit the instant writ petition; (ii) Call for the records relevant from the custody of the respondents; (iii) Issue RULE calling upon the respondent to show cause as to why a Writ of Mandamus and/or in the nature thereof, shall not be issued directing the respondents to refund the admitted security deposit amount of Rs. 3,34,455/- and earnest money amounting to Rs.48,486/- to the petitioner for satisfactory completion of the work, namely, 'NRDWP/Urban Water Supply Schemes in Tripura during the year 2014-15 under DWS Division, Kumarghat/ Collection, Transportation & Supplying of Pea-gravels of particle size, range over 2.00 mm to 4.75 mm (Best quality) from Golaghat (Assam) (Group No.I)'; (iv) Issue RULE calling upon the respondent to show cause as to why a Writ of Mandamus and/or in the nature thereof, shall not be issued directing the respondents to return Rs. 35,000/- which was recovered by the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 from the security deposit of the work, namely, 'NRDWP/Urban Water Supply Schemes in Tripura during the year 2014-15 under DWS Division, Kumarghat/Collection, Transportation & Supplying of Pea-gravels of particle size, range over 2.00 mm to 4.75 mm (Best quality) from Golaghat (Assam) (Group No.I)';” [3] It is seen from the record that the petitioner herein submitted a representation dated 02.06.2025 addressing to the Executive Engineer, DWS Division, Kumarghat, Unakoti, Tripura ventilating his grievances but till date he got no positive response. Page 2 of 2 [4] Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this present writ petition is disposed of directing the concerned respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in light of the representation dated 02.06.2025 within a period of 03 (three) months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, in accordance with law, if not already decided. With the above observation and direction, this present writ petition stands disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous application(s), pending if any, shall stand closed.
