It is jointly submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent that the petitioner’s claim is similar to the claim of one Suresh S/o Mallikarjun Ghule who approached this Court in W.P.No.207638/2017. It is further submitted that this Court in W.P.No.207638/2017 has issued a direction to respondent to consider the said Suresh S/o Mallikarjun Ghule’s claim as against GM – Kannada category and act upon the recommendation of the Selection Committee report, which indicated that the petitioner in the said petition was the highest scorer in GM-Kannada category. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:1648 WP No. 200667 of 2025 3. Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that petitioner comes under III-B category and he was recommended under the said category on 05.07.2012 and his name is found in Annexure-F - Selection Committee report at Sl.No.8. Thereafter, he has not been selected. It is further stated that Suresh S/o Mallikarjun Ghule referred to above was also found in the same list at Sl.No.13 and Suresh S/o Mallikarjun Ghule’s claim is ordered to be considered in terms of the direction issued in W.P.No.207698/2017. 4. Learned counsel appearing for respondent does not dispute the Selection Committee report marked at Annexure-F wherein the petitioner’s name is found at Sl.No.8. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is also entitled to the following : ORDER i) Writ petition is allowed. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:1648 WP No. 200667 of 2025 ii) The respondent shall consider the claim of the petitioner as against category III-B to the post of Assistant based on the recommendation of the Selection Committee report at Annexure-F. iii) The said exercise shall be completed within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
