The petition has been filed in the name of a Madarsa represented by its Manager. In a criminal writ petition seeking to quash the FIR, interim relief of stay of arrest must be sought on behalf of a natural person and not a juristic entity. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he seeks relief for quashing the FIR and stay of arrest, in the meanwhile, on behalf of the Manager of the Madarsa. Even if that is so, this petition is ill-framed. The petition is accordingly dismissed as not maintainable with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition. Let the certified copy of the FIR be returned to the learned counsel for the petitioner after obtaining a photostat copy of the same, duly attested by the learned counsel on record.
