The petitioner alleges that the complaint lodged by him against the private respondents has not been acted upon by the police authority. It appears from the report submitted by the State that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, prosecution has been submitted under Section 126 of the BNSS. In view of the above, the grievance of the petitioner appears to have been redressed. However, the police authority shall keep strict vigil in the area and shall ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 2 Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
