The petitioner was working on contract basis in the Cooperative Drug Factory, Ranikhet, District Almora. On 30.06.2025, his contract has been terminated. The challenge is made to that order. Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was suffering with various ailments; he has to undergo dialysis, therefore, he could not join his duties preceding the dates when the impugned order was passed; the petitioner is simply seeking the mercy of the respondents-authority to consider his case; he is ready and willing to work with dedication; he has made a representation on 28.07.2025, Annexure No.9 to the writ petition, but it has yet not been decided. He seeks directions that the respondents- authority may be directed to decide the representation dated 28.07.2025, which is Annexure No.9 to the writ petition. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the representation dated 28.07.2025, which is Annexure No.9 to the writ petition, will be decided by within a period of six weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned counsel for the respondents. As such, the petitioner is not claiming any right. What he says is that he is, though, working on contract basis, but still ready and willing to work with commitment. He could not join the duties for some time due to his ailment. He has to undergo dialysis twice a week. In view of it, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 28.07.2025, which is Annexure No.9 to the writ petition, within a period of six weeks from today, in accordance with law.
