Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:24353-DB Court No. - 29 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 37253 of 2024 Petitioner :- Shivendra Singh Gurjar @ Shivendra Singh Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Asha Parihar,Pratik Chandra Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J. Hon'ble Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal,J. 1. It transpires that proceedings under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the "Code") have been undertaken in which the plot in question has been demarcated. Petitioner claims that he has been illegally dispossessed from his land. 2. Section 24 of the Code also provides remedy to the petitioner who claims to have been illegally dispossessed to claim possession. In such circumstances, remedy of the petitioner would be to approach the competent forum for being restored in possession over the land. 3. Such claim of the petitioner would be dealt with as per law. 4. A writ petition for such purposes would not lie at the first instance. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
