The applicant – Adnan is in judicial custody for the offence under Section 3, Section 5 read with Section 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007 in Case Crime No.300 of 2025, registered at Police Station Bahadrabad, District Haridwar. 2. According to the First Information Report, on a secret information, the police party raided the house of one Sukkad on 24.07.2025. The police party noticed that there were four persons at the spot. They recovered 200 kg. beef and other articles from the spot. The police party arrested Adnan (applicant) and Mustafa (co-accused). 1 2025:UHC:7287 3. Heard Mr. Mohd. Safdar, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. Vikas Uniyal, learned Brief Holder for the respondent. 4. Mr. Mohd. Safdar, Advocate, contended that the applicant has been falsely implicated by the police. The alleged recoveries are false. Applicant has no criminal antecedents. He is a student of Class XIIth. He is a permanent resident of District Haridwar, therefore, there is no possibility of his absconding. 5. Mr. Vikas Uniyal, Brief Holder, has opposed the bail application orally. 6. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion as to the merits of the case, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves bail at this stage. 7. The Bail Application is allowed. 8.
