The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondents in proceedings with the re-routing of the 33 KV transmission line affecting supply to the petitioner’s factory without considering the petitioner’s objections illegal and arbitrary, (a) The petitioner is a Private Limited Company in spinning operations. The petitioner got electricity supply through a 33 KV line for the smooth ...PETITIONED ...RESPONDENT(S) 2. , as 3. 2 functioning of the factory. Any modification to the existing infrastructure would rely impact the production/manufacturing operations of the industry, (b) The Junior Engineer and Line Inspector from the respondents’ authority visited the petitioner’s factory at Kolanapalli on 10.01.2025 and informed the petitioner that they intend to erect new 33 KV poles and re-route the same to accommodate another 11 KV connection, (c) The petitioner raised objections and submitted representation dated 13.01.2025 (Ex.P.2), received by the authorities on 16.01.2025. Since the said representation is not considered, the petitioner filed the above writ petition. Learned standing counsel, on instructions, would submit that the authorities are not re-routing the 33 KV line. He would submit that the power .supply if any, to any other firm, the authority will use the same poles in terms cf 5.3.2.2 of General terms and conditions of the Andhra Pradesh Electricity lii- atory Commission. He would re-assert that the authorities are not re routing the 33 KV line. The authorities are laying a separate line over the existing poles. f.a 4. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, since the authorities are not re-routing 33 KV lines, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage directing the respondents not to re-route 33 KV line provided to the petitioner’s industry. The respondent authority shall follow 5.3.2.2 of the General terms and conditions of the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission. No order as to costs.
