The instant application has been filed under Rule 3-A (1) Chapter VI, Part-B, Vol. V of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Rules and Orders for grant of leave to file the present petition. 2. The petitioner has filed the present petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue a writ in the nature of man- damus directing the respondents to consider and promote the petitioner as Cen- tre Head Teacher along with other Head Teachers, who have been promoted as Centre Head Teacher vide order dated 09.12.2021 (Annexure P-15) as none of the persons from visually handicapped category was promoted. A further prayer has been made to grant all consequential benefits like seniority, promotion, ar- rears of salary along with interest from the date of said promotion. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 07.07.2025 (Annexure P-18) to the respondent-department and he shall be satisfied in case, appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.3 to decide the representation dated 07.07.2025 (Annexure P-18) in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Satnampreet Singh Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents and has no serious objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage. However, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has already been promoted as Centre Head Teacher and the competent authority is ready to consider his representation (Annexure P-18) with regard to the prayer made by the petitioner regarding grant of all consequential benefits along with interest. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record carefully. 6. At this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 07.07.2025 (Annexure P-18) submitted by the petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order by passing a speaking and well reasoned order. In case, it is found that the petitioner is entitled to any consequential relief, the same shall also be released to him forthwith along with a reasonable rate of interest. 7. Disposed of.
