2. The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 476 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 80, 61(2) read with Section 3(5) of the BNS,
2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners are accused of demanding dowry and due to non-fullfilment of demand of dowry, the deceased has been killed.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased and the deceased was taken to AIIMS for treatment by
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5482 of 2025(3) dt.19-04-2025 2/2 family of the accused. There is general and omnibus allegation against them and they are in custody since 13.08.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this application for regular bail is allowed.
7. Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-VI, Danapur, Patna/concerned Court below in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 476 of 2024.
8. This application for bail stands allowed.
