Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioners submits that the Writ • Petitioners have made an Application before the Agricultural Marketing Committee (Respondent No.5) on 06.02.203 (Ex.P.2) for renewal of licence of FMC/AND. It is the submission of the learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioners that the licence would expire on 31.03.2023. 3. Having regard to the fact that the Writ Petitioners have made an Application way back on 06.02.2023 before Respondent No.5, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this Writ Petition, at the admission stage, without going into merits, directing the Respondent No.5 to consider the Application of the Writ Petitioners seeking renewal of their FMC/AND licence by passing a Speaking Order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from today and communicate copy of such Order to the Writ Petitioners forthwith. 4. Having taken note of the fact that the Respondent No.5 has been dragging his feet since 06.02.2023 without considering the Application of the Writ Petitioners for renewal of licence, this Court is rather constrained to express its displeasure on the conduct of Respondent No.5. 3 5. Writ Petitioners are directed to submit a copy of this Order along with photocopy of the Application to Respondent No-5 within for effective compliance. e.With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
