Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the A.G.A. for the State. The present petition has been filed for the following reliefs :- "A. Issue a writ of Mandamus commanding the Respondent no.2 to close the history sheet no. 57A dated 09.05.2008 police station Khejuri District Ballia. B. Issue a writ of Mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 12.08.2025 within stipulated period according to the provision of 228 to 231 of Police Regulation Act." It has been argued by the counsel for the petitioner that only one criminal case under Section 379 IPC is pending against the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is being subjected to surveillance because of a history sheet. The petitioner has filed a representation before the Superintendent of Police, District Ballia praying that his surveillance be stopped. The said representation is still pending. The petitioner may make a fresh representation before the Superintendent of Police, District Ballia. In case, the petitioner makes a fresh representation, the same shall be Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Krishna Kumar Mishra, Sudhir Kumar Shukla Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Dhananjay Singh @ Pintu Singh .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) decided by the Superintendent of Police, District Ballia in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of filing the representation.
