Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Shri Pradeep Chauhan, learned counsel for respondent No. 2, and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 31.07.2025 passed by the Commissioner, Meerut Division, Meerut, whereby a direction was issued to the District Magistrate, Bulandshahr that the land (Khasra Nos. 2380, 2381, 2382, 2383, 2384, 2385Ka, 2386Kha, 2395, 2396, 2412, 2413 and 2414) belongs to the Government, its revenue shall be received by the local governing body, and all funds so received shall be utilized for the Ramleela event. The Commissioner further directed that an audit of the individuals who had previously organized the fairs be conducted and an updated status report be submitted to him. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Commissioner, Meerut Divsion Meerut has no jurisdiction to issue such a direction. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file a detailed representation against the aforesaid direction. In case such representation is filed, respondent No. 2 shall decide the same strictly in accordance with law by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
