(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner’s son is missing for the last 09 years i.e. since 2016 and now he has suspicion that respondent Nos. 4 and 5 sold his son to respondent No.6, but learned counsel fails to produce any document which shows that the petitioner has moved a representation or complaint to the authority for registration of FIR etc. 2. On an advance notice, Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. AG, Punjab has appeared on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3 and submitted that habeas corpus is not maintainable in view of the facts and circumstances of pleadings of the present petition. In case, the petitioner is aggrieved, he may approach the appropriate authority for redressal of his grievance. 3. Heard. 4. Keeping in view the facts, this Court finds merit in the contention of learned State counsel.
