Learned counsel for the State informed this Court that after investigation, charge- sheet has been filed against the petitioner on 12.12.2022. 4. This fact has not been disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well. 5. In view of the counter affidavit filed by the State stating therein that the charge-sheet has been filed against the petitioner. Therefore, this criminal writ petition has become infructuous and the same is, accordingly, dismissed as such. 6. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the charge-sheet in appropriate proceedings, before the appropriate forum. 7. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
