Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Additional commissioner Administration Gorakhpur, District-Deoria /respondent No. 1 to decide Demarcation Case No. C202405000000992 (Lachhiya vs. Manjit singh and others) filed under section 24 The Uttar Pradesh Land Revenue Code, 2016 within a stipulated period of time." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that proceeding under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 was decided against which an appeal has been preferred under Section 24(4) of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 which is pending consideration before respondent no. 1 since 2024. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent no. 1 to decide the Case No. C202405000000992 (Lachhiya vs. Manjit singh and others), in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
