Sk, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S. Chutia, learned standing counsel appearing for the Elementary Education (respondent Nos.3, 4 and 5) and Ms. H. Baruah, appearing on behalf of Mr. P. Nayak, leaned standing counsel appearing for the Finance Department. By way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking release of the arrear salary of the petitioner for the period from 27.03.2001 to 31.12.2016 for an amount of Rs. 28,63,041/- and from 01.01.2017 to 28.02.2020 for an amount of Rs. 15,99,294/- only as per the proposal submitted by the District Elementary Education, Barpeta on 04.01.2021. Mr. T. Sk, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that the respondents have rectified and release the subject arrear salaries due to the petitioner. However, he submits that for the period Page No.# 3/3 from 27.03.2001 to 31.12.2016, only the stipendiary salary has been given and not the full salary. He accordingly submits that though in view of the aforesaid development, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition, however, a liberty may be given to the writ petitioner, if so advised, to raise a grievance against the said non- release of the full salary for the period from 27.03.2001 to 31.12.2016 afresh. In view of the aforesaid endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty, if so advised, to approach afresh as regards her full salary for the period from 27.03.2001 to 31.12.2016. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
