Ms.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and his family was living in the subject property for more than 6 decades. Under these circumstances, the said property was brought under the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board vide G.O.Ms.No.1246 dated 19.09.1988 by the Housing and Urban Development Department. 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.35541 of 2025 Hence, a representation dated 27.01.2025 was made before the 1st respondent, requesting them to arrange for lease cum sale deed and patta either in favour of his father's name or his name. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition. 5. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would request this Court to grant 8 weeks time to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner. 6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record. 7. In the case on hand, the petitioner and his family was living in the subject property for more than 6 decades.
