T V S KUMAR The Court made the following order: The above contempt case is filed complaining of violation of order dated 09.03.2011 in W.P.No.5940 of 2011. 2. The above writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of the respondent in paying the compensation under Section 28-A of the L.A. Act, in pursuance of the petitioner’s application dated 12.10.1999 and legal notice dated 20.10.2010, despite the order dated 31.08.1999 passed in O.P.Nos.56 and 57 of 1988, as illegal and arbitrary. 3. The writ petition was disposed of directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the notice dated 20.10.2010, got issued by the petitioner, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. 4. This contempt case is filed in March, 2015, complaining violation of the order dated 09.03.2011, i.e. four years after passing of the order. 5. Counter was filed by the respondent, wherein it was stated that the sole petitioner died on 12.03.2018 and no steps were taken to bring his legal representatives on record. 6. As seen from the material on record, the contempt case, filed in 2015 alleging violation of the order dated 09.03.2011. Apart from the limitation, as contemplated under Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, even steps were not taken to bring the legal representatives of deceased sole petitioner, on record. 7. Hence, this contempt case is dismissed as abated. No costs.
