The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the notice, dated 21.02.2025, issued by respondent No.4 under Section 635 of the GHMC Act, 1955, calling upon the petitioner to furnish ownership documents along with link documents pursuant to a PGRS complaint raised vide VSP2024093285, dated 23.09.2024. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.4 does not have the jurisdiction to issue the impugned notice and only the Commissioner is empowered to issue such notice under Section 635 of the GHMC Act, 1955. However, the petitioner has furnished the documents, as sought in the impugned notice on 14.02.2025, which have been filed before this Court by way of a memo. 3. In view of the submission of the documents and since the impugned notice is merely calling for documents, the concerned authority is at liberty to take an appropriate decision based on the petitioner’s explanation. The issue raised by the petitioner regarding jurisdiction is left open to be agitated in any subsequent 3 proceedings, in the event any adverse orders are passed against him. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
