The petitioner- Prity Ranjan @ Preety Ranjan is in custody in connection with S.T. No.577 of 2023 arising out of Argora P.S. Case No. 85 of 2022 for the offence registered under Section 302 of the IPC pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XI, Ranchi. Earlier bail application of this petitioner was rejected vide order dated 17.05.2024 with a direction to conclude the trial preferably within nine months from the date of the order. It is submitted by learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 12.12.2022 and till date out of eight charge sheeted witnesses, only one has been examined and that too on 29.05.2024. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
