JUSTICE MOHAMMAD NAWAZ) The petitioner is before this Court seeking to initiate contempt proceedings against accused No.2 herein, alleging disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.200216/2024 dated 27.11.2024. 2. The operative portion of the order passed in W.P.No.200216/2024 is as under: “a) The writ petition is hereby allowed. b) Respondent No.4- Gram Panchayat is directed to thoroughly examine all relevant Government Orders, communications, and the pay scale indicated by the Zilla Panchayat, as outlined in Annexures-H and V. Respondent No.4 is further directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representations dated 12.10.2023 and 08.11.2021 (Annexures-T, T1, and R) by passing appropriate orders in accordance with law. c) The entire exercise, including the verification of records and issuance of necessary orders, shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.” - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-K:3414-DB CCC No. 200057 of 2025 3. The petitioner, claiming to have served as a Bill Collector in the Gram Panchayat, Malla (B), Surpur Talluk, filed the above noted writ petition seeking direction to the said respondents to disburse the salary in the pay-scale of Bill Collector. The grievance of the petitioner was that in spite of submitting representations, the same was not considered. 4. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in spite of issuing specific directions to consider the representations and to issue necessary orders within a period of eight weeks, the representations were not considered. 5. Accused No.2 has filed an affidavit, wherein it is stated that he has examined the various records, copy of the proceedings of Gram Panchayat, attendance register and staff salary register etc., and rejected the claim of the petitioner/complainant and communicated the same vide endorsement issued through RPAD, but the same has been - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-K:3414-DB CCC No. 200057 of 2025 returned with a postal shara refused. The copy of the endorsement dated 28.01.2025 has been annexed along with the affidavit. 6. Having perused the endorsement dated 28.01.2025, we find that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.200216/2024, directing accused No.2 herein to consider the representations and to pass necessary orders has been complied. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved by the said endorsement, it is open for him to seek remedy available under law before the appropriate forum. The contempt proceedings are dropped. 7.
