Applicant has filed this application under Section 407 Cr.P.C. seeking transfer of Criminal Case No. 70 of 2024, titled Nisha Rai Vs. Amit Kumar Rai, under Section 125 Cr.P.C., pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ghazipur to the court of competent jurisdiction at Ballia. Applicant-Husband seeks transfer of the maintenance case under Section 125 Cr.P.C. pending at Ghazipur on the ground that he apprehends life threat in District Ghazipur. The averment in this regard contained in paragraph no.15 is without any particulars and the same is apparently misconceived. That apart, the distance between two towns is only 70 KM, therefore, no case is made out for transfer of the said case. The application is dismissed.
